The purpose of the Fellowship Committee is to plan and help carry out the Christian Fellowship activities with members and friends of the Messiah community. Some of these activities are planned specifically by the Fellowship Committee while other Fellowship activities are planned and carried out in partnership with other committees in the church – i.e. working with the Christian Education Committee for Rally Day / Annual Church Picnic. Our mission is to promote fellowship by developing opportunities to bring our church community together to talk, laugh, play, work, nurture and break bread together.
Fellowship programs at Messiah include:
Monthly Activity Nights
Easter Breakfast
Welcome Time (first Sunday of each month prior to Living the Faith Education hour)
Annual picnics
Freezer Food BankLook for dates and locations of these and other events in the church bulletin and newsletter. Come enjoy one another’s fellowship, and bring a friend!

Messiah Lutheran Women is an organization within the church that supports the ministry of Messiah. We reach out to all women of the congregation of Messiah. All women of the congregation are welcome to attend any and all of the Messiah Lutheran Women meetings.
Every year the members of Messiah Lutheran Women support an orphan with the Independent Church in India, make Christmas stockings for Wernersville Hospital and, with the help of the Confirmation and High School Sunday School classes and the generosity of the congregation, we assemble school kits for Lutheran World Relief that are distributed to children in the US and around the world.
Our offerings are sent to support the Independent Church in India, Church Women United, CWU Leprosy Fund, and also to purchase gifts for the shut-ins of the congregation as a way of brightening their holiday season.
We have the Deborah Circle which meets monthly for Bible study and brown bag lunch at the church on the third Sunday of January, February, March, April, May, August, September and October at 12 noon. We also meet each year for our annual General meeting in November. Please come and join us to become part of this ministry.
