Short version: Download and save the object to your desktop. You will still need the ICONS4.DLL file below and need to use the Change Icon step to point to it as shown below.
Many of us love those icons we have on our computer desktop. Just click on it, and the desired result is obtained. Creating a desktop shortcut to access this website is not difficult if you have a procedure. Here is one:
Your browser already is open to this site. If you have this window set to maximum size, you need to click on the upper right double square portion of the bar - the little box just to the left of the red X and resize this window. Allow enough room so that your desktop is visible along with this window. You can left mouse click on the top bar, hold and drag the window to the right to insure this.
Now find the Address line with the small blue E followed by the website address. Placing your mouse on the E, right click, hold and drag to a blank area of your desktop. Release and choose 'Create Shortcut Here'. You now have a desktop shortcut to this website.
I always like to do more, so right click on the new shortcut and choose Properties. You can choose Rename and give the icon a shorter name, like MLC or Church.
Even nicer, what if that new shortcut looked like a church? To do this, you will need to copy a file to your computer. I'd place it in the My Documents folder for easy reference. Once you have this file, ICONS4.DLL, you may again right click on the shortcut and choose Change Icon. Select browse, point to the My Documents folder and select the picture of the church. Apply the change, and voila! Now you have a desktop icon with a red church!
OK, how do you get the file? Download then select Save when the dialog box appears. Choose your My Document folder to save the file ICONS4.DLL

Right click on an icon selecting Properties
Now that you know how to create and modify desktop shortcuts, you may apply this to any additional items you want. Any object may be right clicked and dragged to the desktop, creating a shortcut.
