| On January 14, 2012, the
Fellowship Committee sponsored a pot luck
dinner to refill our Freezer Food Bank. The items in the Food Bank
here at Messiah are available to shut-ins, those who have been
hospitalized, or for those who we can help with a prepared meal due
to sickness or other needs. Even though we have one event
specifically designated to "restock" the freezer, donations to the
Food Bank may be made and brought in to the freezer on any Sunday or by coordinating with the church office; you
don't have to wait for a specific date to donate.
Freezer containers are available in the kitchen. Be sure to include
the list of ingredients with cooking/reheating instructions taped
securely to the lid so that those with any food allergy may be matched to a dish.
Please use disposable, non-returnable containers. Karen Hatt can answer any questions that you have.
