Please mark your calendars for Sunday, September 12, our traditional "Rally Day." This year, we have a new reason to rally together: a new Mission Statement and Vision Statement, which are the fruits of more than a year of work by the Strategic Planning Committee and Congregation Council.
On this day, following worship, we urge everyone to reserve this time after worship for a presentation about our congregation's progress in developing an intentional plan for the future ministries and mission of Messiah. The presentation will be concise and will allow time for everyone to share in discussing our goals and future direction as a congregation of Christ's Church.
Following our
conversation together, we will enjoy a picnic lunch.
The Council and Strategic Planning Committee are thankful for the guidance of our Lord in the work we have done, and proud of the statements which have resulted. We hope that you will take the opportunity to learn more about how these statements came about, how they will help shape our future, and how your ideas and perspectives are and will continue to be a vital part of the ongoing process now before us as we strive
